Is this forum dead? Need throttle body/mufflers

It's been a while since I've been here but nobody has posted here since like April.

What's going on with all the MKV's?!

I took my 2008 Jetta 2.5 to Istook's to get the Revo program action. So far I'm pretty pleased. Everything I researched said it would smooth out the power band and increase low in torque which I'm confident I feel a difference in.

Right now I'm looking for some OEM parts to do some playing with rather than forking out crap loads of money I don't have for performance parts.

Does anyone know where to get an OEM throttle body and OEM mid and rear mufflers for my model?

I've Googled everything and I keep getting those crap ass parts shop websites and I don't want to go to the dealer.

Please advise!

why exactly do you need your mufflers replaced? did you bang them up or did you have them removed and then decide you wanted them back?

Re: Is this forum dead? Need throttle body/mufflers

I haven't done anything to my car except the Revo program.

I'm mostly playing around. I want to play around with a straight pipe in place of the mid muffler without hacking my exhaust up or having to fork out several hundred for a performance set up when I'm not ready to get that mod yet.

Correct me if I'm wrong but they bolt on and off right? All the exhaust kits I've found are direct replacements with no welding required so I assumed the stock system would come off, and in pieces, without welding.
